NSA workers petition President Mahama to sack deputy director Majeed Bawa

Workers of the National Sports Authority (NSA) have petitioned the President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, to dismiss Majeed Bawa as Deputy Director.

The workers argue that his appointment was politically motivated by the previous administration and claim he is not aligned with the current government’s vision for the NSA.

According to sources, President John Dramani Mahama received the petition at the Jubilee House on Tuesday afternoon.

Abdul Majeed Bawa was appointed Deputy Director General of the National Sports Authority on February 16, 2018, by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
