Legon Cities manager, Paa Kwesi Fabien, has expressed satisfaction following their goalless draw against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday in the Ghana Premier League.
The encounter took place at the Accra Sports Stadium with neither team managing to score.
In his post-match comments to the media, Fabian remarked, “Our planned work was to secure a win, but that wasn’t the outcome today.”
“The timely clearance from Ampadu was crucial. A point here is okay for us. Now, we have to shift our focus to the upcoming game against Chelsea in Berekum. Credit to my boys. I am proud of them.”
The draw leaves Hearts of Oak in the 11th position on the Ghana Premier League table, with Legon Cities FC closely following in 12th place.
Looking ahead, Hearts of Oak is set to face Accra Lions in the next matchday, while Legon Cities FC will take on Berekum Chelsea.
