Ghanaian players were in action over the weekend across Europe’s top six leagues. Isaac Nuhu scored a consolation goal for KAS Eupen while Ernest Nuamah helped Lyon win their league first game of the season.

Caleb Ekuban came off injured in the 54th minute as his side Genoa won 1-0 against Hellas Verona.

Alfred Duncan played the entire game for Fiorentina as they won 2-1 against Bologna.

French Ligue 1 round 12

Andre Ayew was unveiled as new Le Havre player at their game against Monaco.

Alidu Seidu helped Clermont Foot pick only their second win of the season after beating Lorient 1-0 at home.

Ernest Nuamah lasted 77 minutes of the game as his side Lyon won just their first league game of the season.

Salis Abdul Samed played the entire game for Lens as they won 1-0 against Marseille.

Joseph Paintsil starred for Genk in their 3-1 win over OH Leuven, completing the most dribbles in the game. Teammate Christopher Bonsu Baah also lasted 70 minutes. Meanwhile, Nathaniel Opoku was taken off in the 81st minute for Leuven.
