2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Week 21 Match Preview – Dreams FC vs Hearts of Oak

In a highly competitive clash on Thursday, Dreams FC and Hearts of Oak will lock horns in matchday 21 of the Ghana Premier League with both teams poised to secure maximum points in the game.

The game which was originally scheduled to take place at the Theater of Dreams, Dawu, has been moved to the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The change in venue is as a result of the ongoing renovations works, making the venue unavailable for the much-anticipated clash.

It is important to note that, Dreams FC’s alternative venue (Accra Sports Stadium) is not available at the moment due to the ongoing Africa Games. The Accra Sports Stadium is hosting the African Games Men’s Football Tournament.

The upcoming fixture promises to be a thrilling one as both teams will be yearning for maximum points to climb up the table.

The Still Believe has become a force to reckon with, considering the performance in domestic football and Africa at large. They have managed three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five games.

And with 25 points, Dreams FC find themselves in the 11th position on the Ghana Premier League table.

Karim Zito and his charges are brimming with confidence having secured a crucial away win against Nsoatreman FC at the weekend.

Dreams FC will be without duo Abdul Aziz Issah and Ofori McCarthy, due to their participation in the ongoing African Games with the Black Satellites.

Hearts of Oak, on the other side, is having a season turn around under new coach Aboubakar Ouattara. The club have amassed seven points from three games since the resumption of the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians has picked two wins and one draw after three games into the second half of the season, and are currently eight on the standings.

Hearts of Oak forward, Hamza Issah, who has been in fine form this season is back in the team after missing their game against Bofoakwa Tano.

The first round meeting between the two teams resulted in a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium.
