Hearts of Oak talisman Salifu Ibrahim saddened after stalemate against Bofoakwa Tano

Hearts of Oak talisman Salifu Ibrahim is saddened following his outfit stalemate against Bofoakwa Tano in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians played out a 1-1 draw against the Sunyani-based club on Monday at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

The game saw Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng equalize for Bofoakwa Tano, cancelling out Salifu Ibrahim’s opening goal, leading to a 1-1 stalemate.

After the game, the former Eleven Wonders star expressed his displeasure after sharing the spoils with Bofoakwa Tano.

“We played home away from home because Accra Sports Stadium is not available now and you could see we didn’t get the support we wanted. We are not happy to draw with Bofoakwa Tano because we wanted maximum points in this game to push us further on the table but it’s sad we drew” he said.

Despite the draw, Hearts of Oak remains in the 8th position on the league table. They will hope to bounce back in their next game against Dreams FC.
