England-based defender Jeffrey Schlupp is one of the surprise exclusions from Ghana’s final 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, according to local media reports.
The 29 year old who has been in sensational form for Crystal Palace this season has reportedly been dropped by Coach Otto Addo.
Schlupp’s last appearance for the Black Stars came September of last year when he played 28 minutes in a World Cup qualifier win over Ethiopia.
Ghana is set to make its four ever appearance at the global showpiece in Qatar.
The Black Stars are in Group H alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.
