Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has telephoned all 55 players named in his provisional squad to inform them of their fate in the squad.
Ghana Sports Publications confirmed earlier this afternoon that Belgium-based Joseph Paintsil has been told he won’t be part of the final squad for the World Cup.
Meanwhile, Ghana Sports can further reveal that two US-based Yaw Yeboah has also received a phone call from the head coach to inform him of his decision to leave him out of the squad.
Anderlecht midfielder Majeed Ashimeru has also been told about his fate in the squad. According to sources close to the former WAFA midfielder won’t be on the plane to Qatar in 10 days time.
