Newly promoted Ghana Premier League side Young Apostles have completed the signing of former Asante Kotoko forward Rocky Dwamena on a free transfer.
The talented midfielder inked a two-year deal after successful negotiations between both parties, with an agreement for a possible renewal.
Dwamena’s contract with the Porcupine Warriors was terminated after coach Prosper Nartey Ogum confirmed that he was not in his plans for the upcoming season.
The 21-year-old midfielder played 23 games, scoring three goals and providing three assists during his two-year stay with the Kumasi-based club.
Dwamena is the first signing for Young Apostles FC as they prepare to strengthen their squad ahead of the Ghana Premier League campaign next season.
This will be their maiden season in the Ghanaian top-flight.
