The Confederation of African Football has officially given its approval for the Moroni Stadium to be used as the venue for the Comoros vs. Ghana match in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

Following a thorough inspection by the African football governing body, the Moroni Stadium was deemed to be in excellent condition, meeting all the required standards and specifications set by CAF.

This signifies that the stadium has been renovated to comply with modern football stadium requirements and standards.

The Coelacanths have chosen this approved venue to host all of their home matches in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and other international competitions.

The Black Stars are in Group B in the qualifiers, and will be competing against Madagascar, Comoros, Mali, Chad, and the Central African Republic.

Ghana’s first group match will take place at the Baba Yara Stadium, where they will face Madagascar, followed by a trip to the Moroni Stadium in Comoros for their second group game.
