GFA Foundation supports clubs and victims of Akosombo Dam spillage with Ghs100,000

The GFA Foundation is providing assistance to those affected by the Akosombo and Kpong Dams spillage, offering a donation of One Hundred Thousand Ghana Cedis (GHS100,000.00).

This support will be directed towards local clubs associated with the organization and communities impacted by the spillage.

The allocated funds will be utilized to procure essential relief items, including mattresses for students, toiletries, and food supplies which will be distributed to individuals in the areas severely affected by the spillage.

The transfer of the funds has already been completed, with the Volta Regional Football Association facilitating the relief efforts on behalf of the Ghana Football Association, expected to be completed within one week.

The GFA Foundation serves as the Ghana Football Association’s structure for social investment and sustainability management. The Foundation is responsible for coordinating all corporate social responsibility initiatives, charity projects, and programs on behalf of the Football Association.
