We’re rebuilding – Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara

Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara says his outfit are embarking on a rebuilding exercise and has therefore urged calm among the club fans.

Ouattara, who assumed the role ahead of the second round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League, has enjoyed a promising start with two consecutive victories.

Under Ouattara’s guidance, Hearts of Oak has witnessed a rise in form, moving from 11th to seventh on the league table.

Despite their impressive performance, the Ivorian trainer insists his side are on a rebuilding exercise.

“We’re rebuilding this team step by step, and we can start talking on June 15, but for the time being, we are rebuilding” he said.

The Phobians are preparing for their matchday 20 clash against Bofoakwa Tano to be held at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Ghanaian giants will be hoping to maintain their perfect start to the second half of the domestic top-flight campaign when they take on the Sunyani-based club.
