We can beat Angola but it won’t be easy – Black Stars trainer Otto Addo

Black Stars headcoach Otto Addo has expressed optimism of securing victory against Angola in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Ghana begins its campaign against the Palancas Negras on Thursday at the Baba Yara Stadium hoping to kickoff their journey on a good note.

But they will have to work hard to beat Angola who have not lost in 8 matches.

“I’m convinced that we can beat them, but it won’t be easy. And also we had some injuries, but I think the squad is ready, ” Otto Addo said.

“We have a lot of players who can match up. And surely on this way I wish all the players which are injured, Kamaldeen, Gideon Mensah, Alexander Djiku and the rest so we have more which are injured and I wish them a speedy recovery and then we see how the season goes when they come back,” he stated

Sudan currently sit top of Group F after beating Niger 1-0.
