We are not stopping after win against Hearts of Oak – Kotoko coach David Ocloo insists

The assistant coach of Asante Kotoko, David Ocloo has indicated that the team’s top form before facing Hearts of Oak helped in their victory.

According to him, the team is keen on winning more games and will build on their consistency going forward.

The Porcupine Warriors locked horns with the Phobians in Round 14 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season on Sunday.

In a game played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Asante Kotoko came from behind to record a delightful 3-2 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.

Before the Hearts of Oak game, Asante Kotoko had won three consecutive games in the Ghana Premier League, making the side one of the most in-form teams in the division.

Speaking after the game, Coach David Ocloo said the form of the Reds was key in the come-back win.

“It’s all about consistency. You could see that for some time now we’ve been performing and we are keeping the consistency,” the assistant coach of Kotoko said.

He continued, “I think I would like to thank the fans for coming in to support us. We are really grateful.”

After the win over the weekend, Asante Kotoko have moved to 7th on the Ghana Premier League table.
