We are not out of the danger zone yet – Heart of Lions coach Bashir Hayford

Heart of Lions coach, Bashir Hayford, has issued a warning following their 1-0 victory over Asante Kotoko, emphasizing that the team is still in a unsafe position.

Despite the triumph in their Ghana Premier League match week 18 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium, Hayford stressed the need for continued hard work and effort to secure their league standing.

In a post-match interview, coach Abdul Mumin echoed Hayford’s sentiments, emphasizing the ongoing struggle the team faces. Mumin expressed his commitment to a “rescue mission,” indicating that the team’s focus remains on improving their performance and securing points rather than reveling in their recent win.

“We are not out yet; we are embarking on a rescue mission, so I don’t want to talk too much,” Mumin stated.

“It is after you have done the job that maybe you can tell people your strategy and your plans. So now I am focusing on how to rescue them,”
