Ghana’s Black Queens will travel to Abidjan to lock horns with familiar foes Ivory Coast in two international friendly matches on May 30 and June 3, 2025, as they intensify preparations for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
The games are expected to provide litmus test for a team under the guidance of head coach Kim Lars Björkegren.
Since March, the Queens have played several international fixtures as they seek to fine-tune tactics, build chemistry, and inject momentum into their WAFCON campaign.
The full squad list is expected to be made public in the coming days, with several foreign-based players likely to return to boost the team’s chances.
Ghana is hoping to make a deep run in Morocco later this year, and the back-to-back fixtures will help shape the final squad.
