GFA presents buses to Women’s League giants Ampem Darkoa and Hasaacas Ladies

Ampem Darkoa Ladies and Hasaacas Ladies have received buses from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) as part of efforts to boost club operations and reduce transport hurdles for women’s teams.

The two sides were crowned zonal champions of the 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League and are the latest beneficiaries of the GFA’s Bus Acquisition Strategy.

GFA President Kurt Okraku said the move aligns with the association’s vision to promote sustainable development in women’s football by strengthening the logistics backbone of top-performing clubs.

This follows a similar donation in 2023 to nine Division One League clubs, including Basake Holy Stars, Vision FC, and Hohoe United, several of which have since made it to the Ghana Premier League.

The GFA says its ongoing investment in club infrastructure and mobility is a key part of its mission to professionalize football at all levels.
