Jamaican dancehall legend Adidja Palmer, famously known as Vybz Kartel, is making moves toward a historic first concert in Ghana at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Sources close to the entertainer suggest the “Worl Boss” has officially requested availability for the 40,000-seater stadium.
Kartel, recently freed after serving 13 years in prison, was initially slated to headline a December 31 concert in Ghana last year, which featured Ghanaian heavyweight Shatta Wale.
That show, however, never materialized.
The Accra Sports Stadium, largely known as a football venue and a home base for the Black Stars, has not hosted any major music event since October 2024.
The venue has previously seen explosive concerts from the likes of Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, setting a high standard for dancehall and Afrobeat spectacles.
With interest already building and the “Worl Boss” back on the global stage, Ghana could be gearing up for one of its most talked-about concerts in recent memory.
