Italian-born Ghanaian right-back Claud Adjapong has signed a two-year contract with Serie C club Potenza Calcio, the club confirmed in an official statement.
The 27-year-old joins the Red-Blues on a free transfer after parting ways with Ascoli Calcio at the end of the 2024/25 season.
“Potenza Calcio announces that it has acquired the rights to the sporting performances of the 1998-born footballer Claud Adjapong until June 30, 2027,” the club wrote. “A warm welcome to Claud in the red and blue jersey!”
A former player for Sassuolo and a regular feature in Italy’s U19, U20, and U21 national teams, Adjapong adds valuable top-level experience to Potenza’s squad.
Despite his youth caps for Italy, he remains eligible to represent Ghana at senior international level.
