The University for Development Studies (UDS) has ramped up preparations for the 2025 World University Games, set to take place in Dalian, China, this September.
The team entered residential camp on July 6, following their dominant 3-0 victory over the University of Lagos in the FASU Games final.
The victory crowned them African champions and secured their spot as the continent’s sole representative.
UDS will field a strong squad, packed with players who have featured in the Ghana Premier League and Access Bank Division One League.
Among the standouts are Asigre Sulemana, Labando Yakubu, Ronald Frimpong, Ezedeen Alhassan, Fauzan Dandawa, and George Renchi.
With momentum from their African triumph and a wealth of domestic talent, UDS is aiming to make a bold statement on the global university football stage.
