Erling Haaland has broken the deadlock for Manchester City in the 70th minute.
After over an hour of play, Manchester City finally registered their first shot on target, and it has resulted in a crucial goal.
A corner delivery into the box was initially headed down by Dias and blocked, but a weak clearance from Branthwaite fell kindly to Haaland, who unleashed a powerful strike past Pickford from close range with his weaker foot.

The goal has taken Manchester City to the top of the table, at least temporarily, with Liverpool scheduled to play later today
