Spanish side Valencia has agreed personal terms with Yunus Musah to extend his stay at the club.
The 19-year-old, who chose to represent USA ahead of Ghana has been on top form since Gennaro Gattuso took over the managerial role at Valencia.
The highly-rated midfielder provided two assists in six appearances in the ongoing 2022/23 Spanish Laliga season.
He is now a target for some European clubs as they beef up their squad in the next January transfer window.
Rumors coming out indicate that Arsenal, Liverpool and Juventus are keeping tabs on him.
He is valued at $27.5 million in his current contract with Valencia CF which is expected to end in 2026.
Musah is the fifth most expensive American player behind Christian Pulisic, Gio Reyna, Brenden Aaronson and Weston McKennie in Europe this season.
