Ghana youth duo Emmanuel Sowah-Adjei and Francis Amuzu have played a key role in Anderlecht’s 2-0 victory over Barcelona in the first leg of the 2016 UEFA Youth League at the quarter final stage.
The young Spaniards conceded the two goals in the 53rd and 88th minutes thanks to young defender Amrani and danger man Bernier respectively.
Solid defender Sowah-Adjei lasted the entire duration of the clash whereas maestro midfielder Francis Amuzu was introduced in the 71st minute of the match as he replaced Janelas.
The Belgians will miss the service of Mangala in the return leg as the teenager received a red card in the 92nd minute of the game.
Sowah-Adjei and Francis Amuzu are available for selection for Coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani’s Black Satellites campaign.
