This is the personality behind Christopher Nettey’s move to Hearts of Oak [Asempa FM SportsNite Leaks] —

Asempa FM’s SportsNite Leaks has revealed that former Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo is strongly behind Christopher Nettey‘s decision to ditch the Porcupine Warriors for their rivals in Accra.

Broadcast journalist Enoch Worlanyo has revealed that the 24-year-old has already arrived in the capital and is set for a showdown meeting with the hierarchy of his boyhood club.

Despite Nettey admitting in the past that he is a supporter of Hearts of Oak, it has taken the effort of Hearts assistant trainer David Ocloo to get him for the Phobians.

The Rainbow club has reportedly offered him an improved deal to what he was receiving at Kotoko.

Sources close to the club have revealed that he would be put on a GHS6,000 a-month salary.

Ocloo worked closely with Nettey at Kotoko and was one of the individuals who intervened when he fell out with the then-head coach of Kotoko Dr. Prosper Netteh Ogum.

The source further disclosed that the former Great Olympics defender feels comfortable with the presence of the former Liberty Professionals head coach and wants to under him once more.

He has been capped twice by Ghana at the senior level.

On 12 November, he made his Black Stars debut against Sudan in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers Group C match at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium, starting in the right-back position as Ghana won 2–0.
