Midfielder Frederick Ansah Botchway has finally left Hearts of Oak to join Ethiopian Premier League side Adama City FC.
According to latest reports, the 25-year-old has signed a professional contract with the top-flight side and will spend the 2022/23 season in the central Oromia Region of Ethiopia.
United Beverages, makers of the Ethiopian beer brand Anbessa Beer, is a sponsor of the club and in 2021 provided the club with new Jako branded Kits.
Botchway had to find a way out of Hearts of Oak after the Phobians declared him surplus to requirement at the club.
He joined the 2000 CAF Champions League winners during the 2020 winter transfer window after quitting Liberty Professionals where his contract with the Dansoman-based club has run out.
The talented midfielder won 1 Ghana Premier League title and 2 MTN FA Cup titles at Hearts of Oak.
