Communications Director at the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum says the general outlook of Ghana’s biggest clash, Kotoko v Hearts of Oak, was a wake up call to the GFA and the aforementioned clubs.

Hearts and Kotoko faced off on May 4 at the Accra Sports Stadium for the biggest game on the Ghanaian calendar.

However, the turnout was discouraging, so was the quality of football, as both sides settled for a point after a drab 0-0.

Speaking to Akoma FM about the Super Clash, Henry Asante Twum said:

“We (GFA) were not delighted with the Super Clash. Immediately after the game, the competition department met with the FA President, who was not pleased as well.

“We must all wake up, the GFA, the two clubs, and the media, in order to get the best that we used to see years back for the Super Clash.”
