Techiman Heroes share spoils with Victory Club Warriors in Zone One

Techiman Heroes kept hold of the top spot in Zone 1A after a draw with Victory Club Warriors who have kept six consecutive clean sheets in six unbeaten games. Both sides were a delight to watch but couldn’t take their chances as they shared the points in a goalless draw. Techiman Heroes player Abdul Ganiwu was sent off following his unpleasant incident in the game while Gideon Acheampong of Victory Club Warriors was named player of the match.

Still in the Zone, Issahaku Wahidu’s 70th minute goal gave Wa Power SC a thrilling win over Northern City FC. The win gave a new breath of life in the survival battle of Wa Power in Zone 1A as they temporarily moved out the relegation Zone.

Elsewhere, Young Apostles maintained their place on top of the table in Zone 1B after sharing the spoils with Baffour Soccer Academy. Hussein Issah scored in the 15th minute to give the visitors the lead but Baffour Soccer Academy leveled matters through Okine Enock in the 33rd minute to make 1-1.
