Sowah Odotei slams Aziz Haruna Futah for blaming Hearts management on poor stadium attendance

Accra Hearts of Oak board member Vincent Sowah Odotei has taken a strong stance against Aziz Haruna Futah for blaming the management for the poor attendance at Hearts games.

Odotei called Aziz Haruna’s claim that Hearts’ management is to blame for the low stadium attendance “unwise.”

Poor attendance has affected the Ghana Premier League making it difficult for teams to generate the necessary ticket sales to support their operations.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of King Faisal Football Club, Awal Mohammed earlier this month disclosed that the club earned nothing from gate proceeds at the end of the match against Nsoatreman.

Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif has met with various stakeholders to find a solution to the low attendance at match venues.

“I don’t agree with Aziz. If he were a wise person, he would not be making that statement [that Hearts management is the problem],” he told Nhyira FM monitored by Footballghana.com

“The non-attendance of fans is not limited to Accra Hearts of Oak,”
