SJK Seinäjoki head coach Stevie Grieve is confident his new striker Kevin Appiah Nyarko has all the tools to thrive in Finland’s top flight.
The 23-year-old arrives on a two-year deal with an option for an additional year, joining as a free agent after parting ways with Swedish Superettan outfit Varbergs BoIS earlier this summer.
The Scottish manager praised Nyarko’s attacking qualities, describing him as a player who can add a new dimension to the squad.
“Kevin was a reliable scorer in Sweden and this is a great opportunity for us. He is sharp inside the box, makes intelligent runs in behind, and has excellent speed. On top of that, he moves very well when involved in play,” Grieve noted.
“Beyond his qualities on the pitch, he’s also the kind of personality that suits our group perfectly. We’re excited to see what he brings for the rest of the campaign.”
With SJK pushing to challenge for honours, Grieve is counting on Nyarko’s goals and energy to strengthen their title and European qualification hopes.
