Swedish Superettan side Örebro SK have strengthened their defensive options with the signing of Ghanaian centre-back Joseph Baffoe.
The 32-year-old arrives on a short-term contract that runs until the end of the 2025 season, according to Swedish outlet NA-sporten.
Baffoe had been without a club since leaving Halmstads BK earlier this year.
However, he spent time on trial with Allsvenskan outfit IFK Värnamo in June before eventually agreeing terms with Örebro, who are looking to bolster their squad for the business end of the campaign.
The experienced defender could make his debut as soon as Monday, when Örebro face Umeå FC in the Superettan.
His addition is expected to bring leadership and stability at the back, having previously featured for clubs across Sweden, Germany, and Norway.
Despite representing Sweden at various youth levels, Baffoe remains eligible to play for Ghana, keeping the door open for a potential Black Stars call-up should the opportunity arise.
