Samartex centre-back Desmond Gyabeng is looking forward to cementing his positon after finally making his debut for the club.
The defender, who joined the Timber giants from Akosombo Kings Palace before the start of the league made his debut last Sunday when his outfit played Karela United in the week 16 of the campaign.
Desmond Gyabeng exhibited top performance as his side cruised to a resounding 3-0 win at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex.
After the game, the defender expressed his joy with his debut whiles promising to work hard in order to cement his position in the team.
“It was a wonderful feeling and great experience. There are a lot of challenges and competition in the team and that pushes me to work extra hard to get a place in the team. the feeling is high making my debut “
“I think this will motivate me to do more and cement my place in the team. I know the competition in the team and I’m looking forward to working hard to maintain my place” he said.
Samartex are enjoying a wonderful campaign and are currently at the summit of the table with 29 points after 16 games so far this season.
