Ghanaian goalkeeper Richmond Ayi has sealed a move to Ethiopian Premier League club Shire Endaselassie.
The 28-year-old former Hearts of Oak shot-stopper has signed a short-term contract with an option to extend beyond the 2025–26 season.
His arrival is expected to strengthen the club’s goalkeeping department as they target an improved league campaign.
Ayi’s career began at Techiman City before he made his name at WAFA SC, where his consistency between the posts attracted the attention of Hearts of Oak.
He joined the Phobians in late 2018 and went on to enjoy a successful spell including winning the Premier League and FA Cup in 2021.
After leaving Hearts, Ayi joined Dreams FC in 2024, featuring regularly in both domestic competitions and the CAF Confederation Cup.
