Bechem United secured a hard-fought draw against Asante Kotoko in the betPawa Premier League at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Kotoko dominated the early exchanges and got their breakthrough in the 9th minute when Peter Acquah capitalized on an excellent team play to score the opening goal, smashing the ball into the net’s roof.
However, Bechem United didn’t back down. Augustine Okrah, who has been in excellent form, continued his goal-scoring streak by finding the net in the 54th minute, equalizing the score at 1-1.
The Hunters defense held strong for the rest of the match, securing a valuable away point.
With this result, Bechem United moved to 12th place in the standings with 8 points, while the Porcupine Warriors maintained their mid-table position with 10 points.
