KRC Genk winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has expressed his excitement after his Black Stars debut in the Unity Cup against Nigeria.
Despite the 2-1 loss, he impressed fans with his performance and is already looking ahead to the 3rd and 4th place game.
“Honoured and excited to be making my international debut for my country. Filled with pride and ready to give it my all. God is the greatest,” he posted on social media.
Bonsu Baah, who was previously invited for World Cup qualifiers, waited for his chance to shine.
His debut showcased his talent, and he’s expected to start against Trinidad and Tobago in the third-place game.
The 20-year-old winger had a breakthrough season in Belgium, making 38 league appearances and contributing seven goals.
He’s been recognized as one of the top young players globally, listed twice in the top 100.
