The Serbian sensationally left out the Inter Milan midfielder from his squad to Angola and says he has observed the reaction from a distance.
“I have taken note but I think I have picked a squad well placed to do well,” Rajevac told KickOffGhana.com.
“I don’t want to discuss individual players. I have made decisions that I think are in the best interest of the team.”
The Serbian will lead his side out to Nelspruit on Sunday night as they prepare for the tournament where they will face Togo, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast.
