Experienced defender Atta Kusi has described Heart of Lions upcoming Ghana Premier League game against Bibiani Goldstars as a must-win.
Lions will play host to Goldstars in matchday 23 of the domestic top-flight at the Kpando Stadium on Sunday.
Coach Bashir Hayford and his charges will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways after two consecutive defeats in the top-flight.
Speaking ahead of the game, the former Asante Kotoko defender has termed their clash against Goldstars as a must-win game.
“It’s a must-win game because we are not well placed on the Ghana Premier League table. We can’t afford to lose on home turf. We have to win the game at all cost. We will correct our mistakes and ensure we get maximum points” he said.
Lions find themselves in the relegation drop and must play above themselves to escape relegation at the end of the season.
And wth 21 points, Lions sit 17th on the domestic top-flight standings.
