Ghana’s head coach, Otto Addo, has revealed his top three picks for the 2025 FIFA The Best Men’s Player award.
Addo voted for Ousmane Dembélé as his first choice, followed by Lamine Yamal in second place, and Achraf Hakimi in third.
Dembélé, who plays for Paris Saint-Germain, had a remarkable season, winning four major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League.
He received the award, beating Yamal and Kylian Mbappé to the top spot.
His selection of Dembélé was echoed by the overall voting panel, which also placed Yamal second.
Addo’s focus is now on leading Ghana to the 2026 World Cup, having topped Group I in the qualifiers.
