New Edubiase ready to contest for league title

New Edubiase United say they have a realistic chance of winning the 2012/2013 Ghana Premier League.

The 2012 MTN Ghana FA Cup winners have signed experienced players including former Asante Kotoko striker Samad Oppong and ex-AshantiGold duo Nasir Lamine and Addoquaye Addo.

“We have signed the best of players to me and we will blend them with the old guys and I believe they can compete well this season,” Edubiase vice-chairman Alex Akumey said.

“From now is hard work because the season is really packed with the premier, FA Cup and the Confederations Cup to participate.”

Edubiase will play in the 2013 CAF Confederation Cup.
