Former Asante Kotoko player Eric Kwabena Bekoe has defended under pressure Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah for his “good job” at the club.
The Porcupines legend believes that the CEO has done his best and need to be maintained for continuity.
The board of the club gave Nana Yaw Amponsah a three year mandate in 2020 and will come to an end in August this year.
“Per his vision he came with, I will say he has done his part. As for Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, you cannot do all. You can only come and do your quota and go.
“Nana Yaw has done good so far and if we can maintain him for continuity, I think it will be best for the club,” Eric Kwabena Bekoe told Joysports.
Nana Yaw’s future looks uncertain having had a strained relationship with board chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei.
The ssituation looks to have gotten worse with the club struggling across all fronts on the pitch this season.
