English Premier League side West Ham United have been eliminated from the UEFA Europa League by German champions Bayern 04 Leverkusen on Thursday.

The Hammers played a 1-1 draw game at the London Stadium in the second leg which was not enough to guarantee them the semi final qualifications spot as Leverkusen advanced on a 3-1 aggregate.

Striker Michail Antonio shot the Hammers into the lead just 13 minutes of the game before Jeremie Frimpong cancelled it out in the 89th minute.

Despite Kudus’ best efforts, his side couldn’t end Leverkusen’s unbeaten run as they extended it to 44 games.

The Ghanaian international has played 9 games for West Ham United in this season’s Europa League campaign scoring 5 goals.
