Togo international of Ghanaian descent, Kennedy Boateng, has denied reports claiming he has secured a move to Chinese club Shandong Taishan.
The Dinamo București defender was widely linked with a pre-contract agreement ahead of the expiry of his current deal in June 2026.
Romanian media reports suggested the 29-year-old had already committed to joining the Chinese Super League side at the end of the season.
But speaking before Dinamo’s league fixture against FC Argeș, Boateng made it clear no such agreement exists.
“I saw a lot of news that I had signed with Shandong in China.
“To be honest, I haven’t spoken to anyone. I had offers, but Dinamo rejected them. I haven’t signed any contract with Shandong.
“I think a lot of people are obsessed with information about me and a possible transfer. But that shouldn’t be the main focus. My main goal is to be available every week and play for Dinamo.”
Boateng has been a regular figure for Dinamo this season, making 30 appearances in all competitions.
The former LASK centre-back remains under contract and is concentrating on helping his side through the campaign.
