Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus named in Europa League Team of the Week

Mohammed Kudus has been included in Sofascore’s Europa League quarter final second leg team of the week following his performance in West Ham United game against Bayern O4 Leverkusen on Thursday.

The 23 year old played full duration as the Hammers secured 1-1 scoreline at the London Stadium.

But the result wasn’t enough as the Germans booked the semi final spot with a 3-1 aggregate scoreline over two-legs.

Jamaican striker Michail Antonio broke the deadlock for West Ham in the 13th minute but was cancelled out by Jeremie Frimpong in the 89th minute as the game ended in a stalemate.

Kudus has been very productive in the West Ham United despite the ousting from the Europa League competition, he has five goals to his credit in nine outings.

The fomer Ajax man and his outfit will now look to forget the disappointment of the Europa League and concentrate on the English Premier League where they sits 8th with 48 points

They will travel away against Crystal Palace in their next fixture in the English topflight.
