Ghanaian forward Sharif Osman registered his first goal for Hatayspor in their 3-1 home loss to Bodrum in the Turkish First League.
The 23-year-old found the net late in the game at the Fuat Tosyali Stadium to reduce the deficit for his side.
Osman joined Hatayspor during the winter transfer window and has quickly become part of the team’s regular setup.
Despite the club’s difficult run, he has shown steady form since arriving.
The former Inter Millas player has now featured seven times in the league as Hatayspor battle to avoid relegation.
Bodrum took the lead shortly after halftime through Arlind Ajeti.
Ali Habesoglu extended the visitors’ advantage just three minutes later to put the hosts under pressure.
Pedro Brazao then converted a penalty in the 64th minute to make it 3-0 and put the result beyond doubt.
Hatayspor struggled to respond until Osman’s late strike offered some consolation.
The defeat leaves the team with work to do in their fight for survival.
