Ghana midfielder Mohammed Abu will officially be unveiled as the new player of Rayo Vallecano on Thursday morning.
GHANAsoccernet.com broke the news on the capture of the exciting 20-year-old to the Spanish side three weeks ago but will officially be presented to the media on Thursday.
He joins from English giants Manchester City which owns  his economic rights until June 2014.
A statement on the club’s website read:â€Abu Mohammed is officially Rayo Vallecano player for the 2012-13 season,â€
“The player will be presented in the press room of the Sports City on Thursday August 30, 2012 from 11:00 am.â€
The promising Right to Dream Academy graduate, spent lasts season on loan at Norwegian outfit Stromgodest where he notched up impressive performances.
He played a bit-part role for Ghana at the 2012 African Cup of Nations as the Black Stars placed fourth in the biannual competition.
