Michael Olise: Bayern and France star embroiled in paternity and support row, claims German woman

Bayern Munich and France winger Michael Olise is at the centre of a legal and personal dispute after a German-Moroccan woman alleged he has a 20‐month‐old daughter he is refusing to see or support properly.

Fatima Zounbrecher, 34, who lives in Dusseldorf, has gone public in German tabloid Bild, saying a DNA test in Munich proved Olise is the father of her daughter, Alia Noor – but claims she has not received any money from him for two years.

The 24-year-old, who joined Bayern from Crystal Palace this summer and shone for France at the 2026 World Cup, faces a court battle over child support and full legal recognition of the girl.

Olise’s legal team insist he has offered help from the outset and remains open to an amicable settlement, accusing Zounbrecher of making “excessive” financial demands.

Relationship began during Crystal Palace spell

Zounbrecher told Bild she met Olise four years ago, when he was playing for Crystal Palace in the Premier League. She described the relationship as a love affair that lasted around two years.

According to her account, the couple split up and, two weeks after their separation, she discovered she was pregnant.

A paternity test later carried out in Munich confirmed that Olise is the biological father of the girl, named Alia Noor.

Zounbrecher alleges that despite this, the Bayern player has neither met his daughter nor provided regular financial support.

“It hurts me to see his cruelty towards his child,” she said. “He doesn’t talk to me directly, he sends his lawyers, who advised him not to see the child. One of them even suggested I buy used clothes for her.”

Dispute over alleged offers and demands

Zounbrecher claims that lawyers acting for Olise initially proposed a monthly payment of €836, later raising the offer to €2,000. She says, however, that no money has actually reached her over the past two years.

In response, Olise’s legal representatives flatly rejected the accusation that he has shirked his responsibilities.

They say the player made an offer of support from the beginning and is still willing to reach a private agreement.

According to their account, Zounbrecher filed a case in French courts seeking €60,000 per month in maintenance – a claim which, they say, was unsuccessful. They further argue that Olise has since offered a figure above the maximum legally permitted child support threshold in Germany.

No documentation from either side has yet been made public, and the case is expected to be examined further by the relevant courts.

Spotlight on private life of rising star

The claims surface at a delicate moment for Olise, an attacking midfielder and winger regarded as one of European football’s leading creative talents.

He was credited with providing the most assists at the 2026 World Cup, enhancing his reputation on the international stage and consolidating his place in France’s squad.

His performances have already triggered serious interest from Real Madrid, who are reported in Spain and Germany to be exploring a move to bring him to the Bernabeu alongside his friend Kylian Mbappe.

The public nature of the revelations contrasts sharply with Olise’s reputation for guarding his privacy off the pitch. German media have described the case as a potential blow to his carefully maintained low profile.

Bayern Munich have not publicly commented on the matter, and it is unclear whether the club or the French Football Federation will take any internal steps while the legal process unfolds.

For now, the issue appears set to be fought out through lawyers in Germany and possibly France, with Zounbrecher demanding formal recognition and what she considers appropriate support, and Olise’s camp insisting they are willing to pay – but not on the scale she has sought.
