Nana Kofi Babil gave the hosts an early advantage, heading in a Michael Enu corner in the 20th minute.
Despite Diawisie Taylor missing a penalty, Medeama held their lead into the halftime break.
Asante Kotoko’s Bernard Somuah equalized in the 64th minute, igniting hopes among the visiting fans.
However, Prosper Boakye dashed those hopes with a late winner, securing the victory for the Mauve and Yellow.
Both clubs used the match as part of their preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
