Medeama SC strengthened their position at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings after recording a comfortable 3-0 victory against Young Apostles at the TnA Stadium.

The Mauve and Yellow produced another assured performance as they continue their push for a second league title.

Fuzy Taylor opened the scoring before Kamaradini Mamudu doubled the advantage to put the hosts firmly in control.

Prince Owusu, introduced from the bench, added the finishing touch to complete a dominant afternoon for the league leaders.

The result sees Medeama move five points clear at the summit, stretching their tally to 37 points.

Their consistency has made them the pace-setters in the title race as the season progresses.

For Young Apostles, the defeat compounds their struggles away from home.

They remain in the bottom half of the table, sitting 14th with 21 points, and continue to search for stability on their travels.
