President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt Okraku has strongly denounced hooliganism in the sport.

He emphasized that referees should not face physical harm or even death for making incorrect decisions.

He called for a collective effort to eradicate hooliganism from the sport, prioritizing the protection of the game’s integrity.

“Under no circumstances should a referee lose his life for getting a decision wrong.

“Lets take hooliganism in any form out of our game.
The product is supreme. We should hold and protect the product. “

Ghana’s 2024/2025 football calendar is set to kick-off on September 6.
