Defender Patrick Asmah has begun training with Hearts of Oak, signaling a possible transfer deal.
The player has agreed to personal terms with the Phobians but was asked to train with the first team for further assessment before finalizing his signing.
According to reports from Kickoffghana.com, Asmah’s performance in training has impressed Coach Aboubakar Ouattara.
As a result, he is expected to undergo a medical next week, after which the move will be completed.
If he passes the medical, the Phobians will offer the left-back a two-year contract with an option for an extension based on his performance.
The 28-year-old defender has been a free agent since leaving Asante Kotoko SC in June 2023.
