Black Starlets captain Benjamin Tsivanyo has praised coach Laryea Kingston describing him as a good man.
Tsivanyo’s comments come after Laryea Kingston faced criticism from some Ghanaians following his resignation as coach.
Laryea Kingston unexpectedly stepped down as the Black Starlets coach following the team’s 2-1 semi-final defeat to Burkina Faso in the just concluded WAFU Zone B championship played in Ghana.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben TV, Tsivanyo defended his former trainer and tagged him as a good man.
” Laryea Kingston is a very good man unlike how a section of the general public perceive him to be. He lived with us like Daddy living with his children” – U-17 Captain, Benjamin Tsivanyo stated.
The Ghana’s Under 17 team finished fourth at the competition after a 3-2 defeat to Nigeria and will not be taking part in the 2025 U-17 African Cup of Nations.
