Kotoko fans protest at training grounds to demand sacking of coach Prosper Narteh Ogum

Some angry supporters of Asante Kotoko stormed the Adako Jachie training complex on Tuesday to protest against the team’s recent bad form and demand the sacking of head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently the worst-performing team in the Ghana Premier League.

With no win in the last seven matches, the team has lost six times and drawn the other game.

Today, outraged fans stormed the training complex of the team to express their displeasure.

The fans numbering about 50 initially prevented every single member of the team (playing body and technical members) from entering the training pitch.

They later calmed down and allowed players to enter after they were engaged by club official Emmanuel Dasoberi

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his assistant David Ocloo were not present.

Club officials are meeting with some heads of the various supporters groups this evening to resolve the matter to ensure the team returns to full training on Wednesday to prepare for their next game against Samartex FC.
